All new Monster bin, pail, bucket, and bag orders will, by default, be delivered to the main front entrance of the shipping address your provide. If no one is present at the time of the delivery, your order will be left near the main front door. Once your order is placed, if you'd like to adjust where your delivery is dropped off, or have any other questions, concerns, or comments, please email our store. All electronic inquiries are responded to promptly. Please note, drop-off location adjustments will only be accepted if requested in advance of delivery.
We aim to have all local Monster bin, ice melter refill, pail, bag, and bucket orders delivered within 48 hours. However, depending on weather conditions at the time of your order, it may take us as long as 96 business hours to fulfill your order. Monster bins, pails, buckets, and bags are available for delivery year round.
Unfortunately, we do not. If your order includes any Green Ice Melter bins, buckets, pails, or bags, and the shipping address is outside of our local delivery area, regretfully your order will be automatically cancelled.
Yes. Any merchandise items other than bulk ice melter, such as our Monster gear and gifts, are available for Canada-wide shipping via Canada Post. All merchandise orders are sent within 3 business days. You can expect your order to arrive via Canada Post's Xpresspost service, usually within 3 to 10 business days. If you do not receive your package within two weeks, or if you have any other notes, questions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to email our store. We respond to all electronic inquiries promptly.
There is no way to cancel or adjust your order online, however please do not hesitate to email our store to provide us with any changes, prior to delivery.
We exclusively sell a product called ClearLane® Enhanced Deicer, for all of our deicing operations. ClearLane, produced by Cargill Industries, is twice as effective as regular road salt, while being 84% less corrosive. It is the only ice melting product to have received the esteemed “Design for the Environment” (DfE) stamp from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. ClearLane® Green Deicer is considered an improvement over regular road salt for several reasons:
Lower Corrosivity: ClearLane® Green Deicer is formulated to be less corrosive than traditional road salt. This reduces damage to vehicles, infrastructure like bridges and roads, and other metal structures exposed to deicing products.

Absolutely not. Monster Plowing Company is adamantly against the use of regular road salt on private property. Monster uses Green Ice Melter exclusively for all of our commercial and residetial deicing operations. Green Ice Melter is also the only ice melting product we provide for purchase online.
We can provide replenishment services for bins not originally purchased through Monster, however we must work out some details first. If you'd like one of your own bins refilled, please email our store prior to ordering.
Yes we do. Our 400 LB Monster bin rentals include delivery, installation, and removal from your property. All bin rentals come delivered full of Green Ice Melter, and include a free heavy-duty scoop. The length of your bin rental term is from Nov 1st of this year (or the day you purchase the rental, if after Nov 1st), to Apr 30th of the following year (a total of 6 months). If you order a Monster bin rental before the winter begins, it will be delivered during the week of November 1st. If you purchase a bin rental during the winter, it will be delivered (at most) within 96 hours but usually the same day. We do not offer term-length discounts for bins purchased mid-season. If you have any questions, notes, or concerns about our seasonal bin rentals, please do not hesitate to email our store, prior to placing your order.

We do not offer any refunds on bulk ice melter orders made online, once your order (including new bins, bin rentals, refills, bags, pails, and buckets) has been delivered. If you've already placed your order, but it has NOT yet been delivered, you can cancel your order for a full refund, by emailing our store. Please note, merchandise orders shipped via Canada Post are entirely non-refundable, once your order has been submitted.

Yes. You will receive an email update confirming your order approval. You will also receive an email update once your order has been delivered. If you ordered a merchandise delivery sent via Canada Post, you will also receive a notification when your tracking number has been created. If you, for any reason, need us to manually check on the status of your order, please do not hesitate to email our store, at any time.
Definitely not. If your property is located within our local delivery area, you can order any of the bulk ice melter products we have available online. If you'd liek to purchase other Monster merchandise, such as our gear and gifts, we ship Canada-wide via Canada Post. If you are outside of Canada and would like to place a merchandise order, please feel free to email our store.
If you received a free bin rental provided when you signed up for your seasonal snow and ice removal contract with Monster, you can feel free to purchase bin refills for your rental bin from our online store. Furthermore, you can purchase additional Monster bin rentals, bulk bags, pails, and buckets at your convenience. As an additional perk, existing seasonal account holders with Monster are eligible to use the "Invoice Me" payment option, enabling you to receive an emailed invoice and pay your bill within 30 days.
Yes. All Monster bins, either purchased or rented, come with a free heavy-duty ice melter scoop. You can use the scoop to spread the ice melter at your leisure.
No, unfortunately buckets, pails and bags do not come with a scoop. They do come with a resealable lid though!
